Thoughts are wavering

Out of my mind into the clouds

They float on and move out of sight

The past is calling me

Should I respond or carry on

Contented with what is to come

Shifting memories

They fly away so far into the night

Something in the wind

Makes me wanna know what’s calling out my name

Picture-perfect frame

Looks like a photograph, the present still remains

Repeating remedies

A lapse in time and we’re forgetting what we saved
